Otros 2 500 alcanzarán Múnich, la capital bávara este lunes antes de que anochezca. Tanto las autoridades alemanas como las austriacas están sorprendidas porque muchas, muchísimas personas siguen esperando en Hungría un medio de transporte, una oportunidad para llegar a Alemania.
Un país que asistía esta pasada madrugada a un nuevo incendio en un centro de acogida para los solicitantes de asilo en Rotemburgo. No hubo que lamentar víctimas mortales aunque dos personas resultaron heridas al saltar por las ventanas para escapar de las llamas.
“Según los bomberos el incendio se inició dentro del edificio, así que esperamos que no se trate de ningún ataque (intencionado)”, señaló el alcalde de la ciudad, Stephan Neher.
Mientras en Hungría, centenares de personas, la mayoría procedentes de Siria, siguen cerca de la frontera con Serbia, en un campamento habilitado por el Gobierno húngaro como centro de registro.
Han pasado la noche al raso: “La situación es muy, muy lamentable. Todo el mundo tiene frío, estamos cansados y nadie quiere estar aquí. No hay suficientes autobuses, sólo uno cada dos horas pero aquí hay 500 personas o quizás más”, comenta Amer, un estudiante llegado desde Damasco.
Pero el primer ministro húngaro, el conservador Viktor Orbán, ha vuelto a reiterar que su prioridad es la protección de las fronteras de la Unión Europea, más que las cuotas de reparto de los refugiados.
