Tras los 20.000 que pisaron territorio germano este fin de semana, el país espera recibir otros 10.000 este lunes, según ha anunciado el presidente de Alta Baviera, Christoph Hillenbrand. Antes de que acabe la jornada, unas 2.500 personas alcanzarán Múnich.
Ante la multitudinaria llegada de indocumentados, la canciller Angela Merkel ha tratado de tranquilizar a los ciudadanos alemanes asegurando que esta crisis migratoria es manejable. Alemania espera este año 800.000 solicitantes de asilo, un récord absoluto que cuadriplica el número de 2014.
Mientras tanto, el presidente de la Comisión Europea, Jean-Claude Juncker, dará a conocer nuevas propuestas de distribución de refugiados este miércoles.
Mientras muchos alemanes han dado la bienvenida a los refugiados, se han producido nuevos ataques a centros de acogida para solicitantes de asilo. Uno de ellos en el suroeste de Alemania, donde cinco personas han resultado heridas en un incendio en declarado en un edificio de la ciudad de Rotemburgo. Además, otro fuego ha quemado un conjunto de viviendas que debían ser hogar de indocumentados en la localidad de Ebeleben, en el este del país.
