Al leer el último galardón de la noche, Warren Beatty se equivocó de nombre porque le habían pasado la tarjeta que no era.
El Óscar de mejor director fue para Damien Chazelle pour La La Land. Cassey Affleck, mejor actor por “Mancheter by the Sea”. Emma Stone, mejor actriz por La La Land. El galardón al mejor filme de habla no inglesa ha recaído en “El Viajante” del iraní, Asghar Farhadi.
